Modern racing dinghies in various classes are still being manufactured & repaired in wood and glassfibre. This site has been opened to offer you the customer a wider range of products and clothing all available from the comfort of your home. Purchasing Goods We have made buying from Boon4Boats as simple as possible. Each item for sale has an Add to Basket button. When you click this button the selected items will be placed in your shopping basket. You can view your shopping basket at any point by clicking the View basket icon. You can input how many of each item you would like, decide to continue shopping, remove an item from the basket or check out and place your secure order. From there your postage will be calculated depending on the item you have chosen and you will be prompted to proceed to checkout. It is at this time you would be asked for your credit card and to confirm your basket and delivery details. All prices shown in store are inclusive of VAT, except for childrens clothing and books which are exempt. Postage When you arrive at your checkout basket you will be offered a choice of delivery options as follows: 1st Class Post, this is calculated as follows: 0-150g £2.50 150-500g £3.50 500-1000G £4.50 1000-1500g £6.95 Next Day Mon-Fri: calculated as follows: 0-150g £4.10 150-500g £6.00 500-1000G £7.50 1000-1500g £8.40 Next Day Saturday:calculated is as follows: 0-150g £6.10 150-500g £8.00 500-1000G £9.50 1000-1500g £10.40 Items over 1500g & up to a max of 10kg must go Overnight Guaranteed £12.95 this excludes Spars, trailers & foils - delivery of these items must be arranged via phone,fax or email We endeavour to carry stock of all items displayed, however there will be occasions when an item may be out of stock. In this situation, we will arrange for the item to be sent direct (where possible) from the supplier. In this unlikely event we will inform you via email of the situation. Every on-line transaction made within Boon4Boats is transmitted across the Internet using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. This industry standard method ensures that information sent from your browser is scrambled whilst in transit and decoded when it arrives on our server. We take the issue of security very seriously and have taken every step possible to protect you. Problems ordering? Common reasons for problems when pressing the order button are; 1) You are using an old browser that doesn't support SSL encryption. 2) You are browsing from behind a corporate firewall that will not allow secure connections. Speak to the system administrator at your office. They will either rectify the problem or you will have to order from another location or use Mail Order as above My goods haven’t arrived? Please wait 7 days if you are in the UK or 15 days if you are overseas. If you do not receive your goods after this period of time, please contact us on +44 (0)1270 872174 or email us with your WorldPay ID number. This number will be included in the e-mail you received from WorldPay when you ordered the goods from our shop. We will strive to resolve the issue immediately. When is my credit card debited? An authorisation takes place when you place your order. This guarantees that the funds are available on your card and that payment will be made to us. If certain items in your order are out of stock or unobtainable we are also able to cancel or refund individual items of your order should this become necessary. Are there risks buying on-line? All personal data, including your card number is transmitted over secure connections, meaning that no-one can 'eavesdrop' and capture your details. Stock availability Our products are offered subject to availability. If for any reason we cannot supply you with any part of your order we will contact you via email or phone to advise you. We may need to cancel or refund the item from your order, in which case the funds will be paid directly back into your account. Prices are subject to change without notice. Returns Policy If you receive a defective product, please email us to arrange an exchange. We aim to replace any defective items with replacements. If this is not possible we shall refund you immediately. Goods returned (at your own cost) must be in new & unmarked condition with manufacturers labels still attached and in original packaging. No return or refund will be given after 14 days from date of receipt.
