The New Boon FRP Solo


Here is a selection of pictures showing our new Epoxy Boon FRP Solo. The first picture was taken on completion of a detailed fit out which was carried out with the expert help of Jim Hunt.






As you can see from the picture, this is the first ever Epoxy FRP Solo to be built with an integral cockpit floor using the very latest in vacuum bag foam core technology. This guarantees a down to weight boat with the least amount of weight in the ends. Special hull features are :- Thermo formed bow panels & control line blocks, extra wide comfy gunwhales, and integral cockpit floor and centre board case. All hulls come in a light grey to avoid headache inducing sunlight glare.





The fit out has been carefully thought through and features continuous control lines along with elastic retraction in the kicker system, and a constant radius traveller track. Control lines include, kicking strap, cunningham, inhaul and outhaul plus an adjustable set of padded toestraps and a rear set of unpadded for the lairy days. Unpadded at the rear to save weight. Last but not least a centre board up haul, and boom out elastic. To complete the hull the cockpit floor is trimmed in a non slip rubber treadmaster, very grippy and never wears out.
